3. Electronic payments:
You can choose to set up MPVCC as a one-time or a recurring recipient through your online banking account. See your bank's website for details.
4. Checks:
Simply make your checks out to "MPVCC" and drop them in the offering basket on Sunday. Or mail them to our address.
5. Cash (offering envelopes):
MPVCC provides offering envelopes to our contributor who would like to give cash. The envelope information helps our bookkeeper to quickly and accurately allocate given amounts to the appropriate individual for year-end tax statement.
6. Stock contributions:
Donating stock is another way to contribute. When you give stock, you are generally exempt from paying capital gains tax. If you'd like to donate stock to the Vineyard, please email Kim Schulz for more information.
7. Give while shopping or dining:
Another innovative tool we’ve adapted at the Vineyard is through Electronic Scrip Inc. The eScrip program is a fundraising program that allows participating merchants like you to contribute a percentage of your grocery cards, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to us. Each time you shop at Safeway or Macys for example, a percentage of your purchase is then given to MPVCC. To participate in this program, go to escrip online and sign up for an account. Then select MPVCC as one of your organizations to donate to. Our Escrip Group ID # is 500000563.
